32 hours and just over 1600 kilometers after leaving Fort Nelson, we have arrived in Saskatoon. Found a beautiful hotel to spend the night in! Looking forward to some relaxation and getting some chores done (Thank you cards, spreadsheets, blogs lol).
Good weather so far, although I can't wait to get back to the mountains! The wind is terrible!! Only about 10 hours of travelling time, and 2 1/2 days waiting time until we pick up "The McDonalds!"
Enjoying the adventure so far, for my first time this far into the prairies. I honestly don't plan on coming back this way, so I might as well enjoy it now! Missing my son like crazy, but the wonderful people taking care of him are sending me videos throughout the day of his adventures, so I don't feel like I'm missing too terribly much. Missing my husband as well, in our ten years together (this July, how time flies!) this will be the longest we have been apart.
Loving the truck stops, everything we need all in one. Sure glad Brad's driving, I'm pretty sure I would be screwed in the dually, never mind with the goose neck on. Pretty stoked to see the load once it's secure! Have our own personal tour guide for tomorrow, looking forward to checking out Cabela's here in Saskatoon before we leave to Winnipeg! That will be another first for me!
